Cells: Any 6 cell, sub 1.2v cells as per the current BRCA homologated list

Hi was just wondering what cells will be legal at next years stcc round one 12th March.

I ask this because the BRCA Homolation lists states cells are legal for sanctioned events after the 1st april but the list has been published already so will it be a case of cells from the 2005 only at round one or cells from the 2006 list as well?

I am only asking early to clear up any confusion we may have come round one

Thats alright Mark, the STCC comittee has always allowed the BRCA list of approved cells to be STCC "legal" from the 1st round of the STCC, whenever that may be.

Can i just confirm that we would be allowed to use IB3800 and GP 4300 during the 1st round on the 12th March. Which is 3 weeks before the new BRCA cell list becomes legal on 1st April.

Is this the case?

Yes, as for STCC purposes the BRCA list is considered legal from R1, even though R1 this year is before April 1st.

Just to confirm, if the cell is on the BRCA list it can be used at the STCC meetings, the cells homogolated for 2006 can be used at round 1 although this is before 1st April.
