Corally manual shows balljoint above the motor plate. Pics on Corally UK site show them on the underside.
Manaul should be the way to assemble it or are drivers finding as per the UK site better ?

I found the same thing, I have built as per the manual.
I did fit the shock as shown in the picture but it mean't modifying the battery retaining strap, this, unfortunately, made it weak and has now sadly broken!
Great upgrade for the car though I found it much better, although I have had problems with the piston head comming off the shock shaft as well as it moving down the shaft and reducing the travel.

We have all been running with the side dampers under and the shock on top of the rear dmper plate.

When running the 6-cell chassis you're not able to mount it under the motor(top)plate.
Then you have to mount it on top.
With 4-cell no such prob...
I think that's the difference.
