I have recently bought a Nitro car and was wondering if anyone has any advice as to what tools and lubes I should keep in stock. Also is it possible to use brake and clutch cleaner for cleaning my car?

good screw drivers and allen keys not knowing what car its hard to say what you need size wise
after run oil, air filter oil shock oils, cvd grease, one way lube, a good bearing oil

yes you can but it may damage some plastics

WHat are after run oil, cvd grease and one way lube? Do you know any good sites that would give me some kind of maintenance scedule? Just a rough idea so am not doing too much or too little. I have just run the car in(5runs as per the manual) 3runs one day and 2 runs next. And at the end of each day I completely stripped and greased everything. Think this is probable overkill but I didnt think it would do any harm.

after run oil is in most model shops and its put in the engine after you have used it to stop the internals rusting
one way oil goes on your 2 steed ( dependent on car) and is sold by serpent, its just a feally thin oil

cvd grease is for the drive shafts and also thrust races in clutches ( agian dependent on car)

strip and clean as much as you can, that way your car will last longer

Thanks for your help. You must be fed up answering daft questions like this but, where would I find the clutch? The car is a Tamiya TGS(??) chassis with a fs.12 engine I think. Everything else seems pretty straightforward.

clutch is inside the small gear on the gear box on the engine next to the small flywheel.
