View Full Version : shumacher fusion
hello all,
I've looked in many places on the net but have generally found there is little interest in the fusion.
Having owned one for 8 months (and many hours of picking up bits over a 3 mile radius) I'm trying to find an organisation or site (or anybody) that races, owns or rags around the nitro fusion 2.1....
What i'm looking for is experiences people have had or general set up details etc...
can anybody help!!
regards
Nicky B.
Thanks for all your replies, the help & guidance I recieved invaluable....
:-X I'll say no more.

well I am of to sleep again, see you in another twenty days.
Well, from the slight hint I've edited my profile, (feel free to gander for those inclined). If I could sleep I would but with a new born baby it's hit & miss...
Back to the topic, I have now purchased a second (second hand) fusion just for the 2.1 thunder tiger motor as mine disintergrated the head & carb in an expensive thump involving my friends (now fractured) ankle and a well placed vauxhall frontera.
What I'm after is a setup (cambers / toe in/out) to floor it in a straight line and not veer off wildly in to a spin, I'm not bothered about cornering as much (as braking heavily & turning when the grip returns seems to be the order of the day)
Currently I'm running HPI Advan Yokohama A038 tyres which have outstanding grip but are worn after two runs!!
Perhaps some of you sleepy heads out there know what the score is ....? I'll give it 20 days.... by that time I may have bought a third, the saga continues........
Regards
Nicky B.

Generally set up a schumacher as per instruction sheet. If you go off like that I would say there was a problem with the build.
Check diffs etc.
We run Fusion R12 and have found it spot on.
