HI. I have a rs4 evo3 HPI, and i stupidly crashed it into a wall, pretty badly. The only damage seamed to be the front of the chassis was bend, so i pulled it down and got every thing nice and straight. But not when you give it gas, it pulls hard left, and when you roll along or take off slowly, it goes nice and straight.
I assumed it was the front off the chassis was bend, and i measured the distance between the centre of the front wheels to the rears, to ensure the chassis wasnt bend and causing the front wheels to pull it left when i gas it. So to trouble shoot some more, it took the front shaft out, and now it goes well on RWD mode. I thought that the front wheels were pulling the car to one side when you gas it, and this now seams the case, as in 2wd mode its fine. In saying this, i pulled the diff apart, and when you try turn the front wheel drive shafts against them selves, they will move, ie 1 wheel goes 1 way other goes a different way. is the diff supposed to be locked? would this be causing the problem.
i would really appreciate some comments, as im lost!
