hot motors

hi guys does any one have the problem with very hot motors i run a rc18t with a ready mini max motor and a lrp quantum mini i also run a 60 th spr gear and a 12 toth pinion i races on an indorrr track with fairly tight corners but it still gets hot !! would having a brushless setup help or do they still get hot chears luke

i use a grauper speed 300 in my rc18t..... its faster than a few mardaves:P.... my motor gets really hot too... i dont think you can really stop this. if u were to buy a brushless, yes it would still get hot.. but no as hot as your normal brushed setup.. it would be 'warm'. which im geussing is due to the efficiency of the motor? hope this helps.... :)

cool chears mate what pinion and spur gear do you run ?

erm... its a 60 spur and maybe a 14 pinion i think not too sure :rolleyes:
