Anyone with a entry level transmitter, without steering rate adjustment, should take a look at the site below. Although it's to do with some boating lark (sailingboats! - what's that all about?) it does show you how to add a trimming pot to your transmitter, which is nice.

It might be in some classes but MANy have rules against modified radio's.
