Well impressed with car. built on a tuesday raced @ tiverton on the sunday. finished 1st in the `b`. changed the back end around a lot but it seemed to react to changes quick too. just looking to see wot else i can improve on the car. thinking of some nice weight saving ti screws from lunsford. any ideas? are they worth it? ;D ;D ;D ;D Cant wait till the next round....

Have a look at the F-Max screws also, I use them. they have the same size allen head for every screw, so no more small countersun screw problems.
have you got Ti balls? they are well worth getting (not sure if they come in the kit)

but where in the UK supplies the Lunsford Ti screws? As far as I know, they're a new product and haven't hit our shores yet.
Ditto on the G+. Wicked motor. Plonked mine 2nd in the B as well at the NE regional last week. First time I'd driven a 4WD in over 10 years!!

Helger distribute Lunsford in the Uk and they dont have them, I think F-Max is more than a good alternative.

F-Max are distributed in the UK by Helger Racing.
I am unsure if they are manufactured in the UK or bought in.
There has been a discussion in the Toring Cars section as to the relative merits of Ti screws.

hmmm, more trouble than they are worth ?? i wouldnt use them on the tops of the shocks, or any real stress areas... steel bends, ti snaps !

I do agree with Jimmy to a certain extent, I would not use them on the shock tower.
other than that, I dont see any other area that you would snap a Ti screw? maybe you could snap an alu one, I had some MAJOR crashes in florida on some very hard on your car pipes withouth any snappers (screws that is)

ti scruz from memory can only get them from the states. i had them on a xx4 couple yrs ago. you rite not to bother on the shock mounts but elsewhere they ok. saves loads of weight. but is it worth it? thou i must say they make the car look pretty!!! ;D ;D ;D
