I have just started racing a Mission S1 and obviously things get broken in action.
Are there any weak parts and what are the pieces I should carry spares of ?

Wishbones...
To be honest, the mission is a very strong car. I have had some fairly big incidents (obviously not my fault ;D) and only ever bent a lower hinge pin on the rear suspension. It really is a stong car.
I do have spare wishbones and driveshafts, but have never had to use them.
Yup you are more likely to bend rather than break! Schu plastic is very tough... i have bent hindge pins, top arm turm buckles and bottom ball joints. Broken bulkheads (fusion ones and they give less than other plastic parts) and rear toe in rod anchor.... thats bout it.... all bending and breakage by Fantom 12T and so i agree the car is rather strong!!!

I ran my Mission for 9 months, and all I broke were 2 driveshafts (the plastic ones used to snap at the pin - changed to steelies and never had a problem), a rear hubcarrier (the kingpin stripped the thread out), and a lower front bumper mount (headon accident with another car at our local club).
Strange really that thats all I did in 9 months, yet my brother got the car, and he destroyed a rear upper wishbone mount, and a rear wishbone in a couple of weeks!
I find my car to be very strong. Then every thing brakes at once, i broke 2 drive shafts 2races in a row, unlucky or what. I would buy uper and lower wishbones and definatly hub carreirs.

Aswell as the parts alredy mentioned i would get a set of the pivot balls used as kinpins as on my car they bend all the time. Meybe i just hit too much?
I neva bent one of those. I find that the tread just bends in the hub instead. Different drivers different parts aye, but then again i have broken 2 carbon fibre chassis :'( neva broke a compasite one tho. It might be because the compaset one is flexable and when i get it or crash it just gives kinda like a shock. But with the carbon fibre one its ridged and dont give just breakes. I hope they put the holes on the new car further in from the end of the chassis. I you got the money buy anotha car as spares. I done it
