new funky looking chassis, kinda like a TA04-R-TRF

Tamiya Ta04-r Tuned chassis kit 4.8.2003
A further expenditure of the TA04!

Tamiya can leave the fingers not from the Ta-04 and presents us a further version of the proven 2-Riemen chassis:

Ta04-r Tuned chassis kit

is called the newest expenditure, which was scattered and peppered again with many noble Tuningteilen. Thus there would be surely times worth mentioning the upper deck and the absorber bridges and a new Akkuhalterung from SSG carbon, Fluorine coated TRF absorber with new short feathers/springs (art. No. 631-medium), Kugeldiffs (art. No. 436), aluminum motor plate (art. No. 437), tail stabilizer and new Frontstabi, aluminum main gear wheel driver (art. No. 452), universal joint waves and kompl. Taper roller bearing set.

The all and still much more is served to a super stick engine Type-R on a graphite-strengthened tub chassis including! And there Tamiya naturally also white that so many Tuningteile are very begeehrt in a component system, was limited the whole short hand. Who wants to thus call a Ta04-r Tuned chassis kit its own, sputen should before-reserve itself and fast, the distribution follows at the end of of August.

sorry about the heck load of pics ... enjoy ;)

Looks nice, but it seems to similar to the TA04 trf other than the chassis, whats the point? ???

I'm with you on this one John, it's too close to the TRF for beginners and not a TRF for the more experienced. What's the price likely to be?

I dissagree with you both! the only difference between the 04-r tuned and teh normal 04 is that the shock towers , upper deck are SSG and the stabilizer set is different i think, the trf has many other differences like the bottom deck, one way centre one way and the suspension blocks. its just a nicer looking version i think thats all..

correct me if im wrong please, hehehhe

Yeah true, but in my opinion they should'nt of used ssg as it looks a bit lame without the chassis.

i dont know how true this is but i heard that the moulded chassis in graphite (hardened, in tamiya talk), was stiffer than alternative sheet materials.

I like the TA04-R Tuned but i think its an unneccessary chassis.

I mean theres quite a lot of TA04 Chassis available already:

TA04
TA04 R
TA04 Pro
TA04-S
TA04-SS
TA04 TRF
TA04-R Tuned

I think the best chassis would be the TA04 TRF cos for the price of the chassis its well equipped and although the TA04-R Tuned has newer components, u can get them for the TA04 TRF and it would be the better chassis.

In fact, i started off with a TA04 Standard chassis and hoping to get parts to replicate the TA04 TRF (minus the SSG Carbon) and add new coloured parts such as the Turnbuckle Shafts and Ball Connectors:)

I think It's a good club level car, comes with most of the good bits off the 414 and with a stock motor too and as it comes in at around £110.00 bloody good value!
