These things are mint, but one problem i have is that i cant work out which end would be best logically to put the nail head. Bit petty really but which do people reckon it should go? front or towards the back of the car

I would fit them with the head to the front of the car.

for the simple reason that when you hit things head on, things that are not bolted down want to continue in the direction they were going in, forward.

but in reality both ends would be secure, I would fit them so that the nail end was on the end that is easiest to remove, so changing wishbones etc would be easier than taking the whole car to bits

hehe thanks, after fitting them they are quite snug (but only on one bit so they are still free) they aint going anywhere.
