What's the best compound tyres front & rear to run on a pan car?
Car is the Assoc RC10L3 on a very smooth medium to high grip tarmac track.
Currently got greens on front & rear, car has a bit of high speed understeer at the moment.
Suggestions welcome

generally in pro ten and twelth racing you go one grade softer on the front than rear so iwould go with corally silver/gold stars

Corally Gold rears and Silver fronts work well indoors, so do the Jaco/TRC versions in purple front and grey rears.
I'd go up a compound all round to run outdoors as I guess the tire wear will be higher....?

It depends on the carpet, but generally I've found that there's more grip and less tyre wear indoors. Unfortunately, this means you tend to want softer tyres on tarmac, so they then wear even faster!
One grade softer on the rear sounds sensible, although at high speed these cars are very sensitive to aerodynamics so it's worth playing with the body a little before investing in more rubber.
I also find that changing the number of shims on top of the front kingpins is a good way to alter the balance - take a shim out to remove the preload (compared to the kit setting) for more front end; or put it back if you're short of traction.

Thanks guys,
had a quick run out Sunday, added more reactive caster and it was starting to handle a lot better.
will try some different tyres later on
