airplane / heli brushless differences to car basil?

is there any way a plane brushless controller could be hooked up to a suitable car brusless motor?? or are there significant differences?????????

there is no reason why it should not run as long as its not drawing too many amps, but you wouldnt have any usefull braking ,all aero brakes are simply on /off ,also the thottle stick on an aero tx is not sprung it goes from zero(car full brake) to full power, so setting it up the throws may be tricky,
