Does anyone have a copy of the instructions for a Schumacher ProCat?
I have aquired a Procat in need of some TLC and repair, and need a set of instructions so that I can get replacements for some of the worn/damaged parts.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Simon.

Thanks,
Would I still be able to get parts, or do I have a dead duck here ???
I think if it's a loss, then I may look round for a cheap second hand later model (98' 2000 or 3000) - even if they need work, atleast I know 100% I can get the parts for them :-[

I would expect your best chance to be a shop that has some seriously old stock stashed away somewhere. Don't think Schumacher have much (if anything) left, but it might be worth giving them a call.
btw, if it's the front "gearbox runners" you're after, don't bother. I have a car knocking about that needs them and i know someone else that has as well. He tried to get bits about 5 years ago and gave up!!!
Truth is i don't fancy your chances. What are you looking for??

If I remember right, the procat didn't find too much favour with the Cat XLS owners, except it had a simpler rear end, and a little more room on the chassis, but thats it, so most converted their XLS with the Pro Cat rear end.

Front anti roll bar
Front left turnbuckle (i think thats its name) and ball joints that go on the end.
Rear wing
Body
Undertray
That should be enough to get it workable.

Well, These are some part numbers that might help.
U575E Body moulding
U576F Undertray moulding
The wing came with one of the obove, but not totally sure which one. i think the wing came with the undertray, and the belt cover came with the shell.
At the time many people used to use "Racecraft" shells and undertrays. Not sure if you would stand any better chance of finding these.
U636G M3 ball joints bag. OR
U728B Rose Joints M3 - short.
Not sure which was on the car origionally. Fairly sure the Rose joints are available now (as i got some earlier in the year).
Turnbuckles - any should fit so this shouldn't be a problem. If you know what length they are then i could find the Schumacher part number.
Couldn't find a part number for the anti roll bar. Wouldn't worry about it too much as i seem to remember taking it off, as the main thing that it did was destroy the front belt!!

Thanks for all your help.
I think I may have sourced a copy of the manual for the Procat (thanks to ebay searching).

I still run my Bosscat Team 93 which was a further evolution of the Procat and i've still got in instructions (If anyone wants a photocopy). Not very hopeful of getting it running if I damage it again though?
