Dont think you'll find its a prototype ae car.
Its a car designed and made by 2 people (Jason Ruona and Brad Reelfs).

Theres been lots of rumours about this that I've heard - about associated possibly being interested in this as it did well in the hands of Jason Ruona. But its all just rumours at the moment.

Yet another TC3 based lash up! >:(
I wish AE would get off their corporate behinds and build a proper off-road based 4WD!

I think out of ALL the TC3 knock ups though Doom, this one looks all the more together, like it was supposed to look like that, not a compromised tourer.

But, what sets it aside from the TC3'O' and the concept CB?

This one looks like there are some big bucks behind this. Assocaited could quite easyly build a 4wd but i heard they dont because of yokomo??Dont know if someone can shed any light on this?

Saw this the other night, looks good.

Doom will back me up with the fact that I was planning on building something very similar. My non-corperate backside at least got as far as doing the drawings for it!!! lol

No point really is there folks, with the Yokomo Bc Special being such a superb car and the B4 having a slightly iffy rear end!!!

Kurt Wenger was asked point blank in Austria if associated would ever build a 4 wheel drive. His answer was NO. It is not commercially viable.

Whether this movement of the scales, in that, of a car good enough to get 13 in the world AND all the parts on Associated shelves (plus a few bits need making) to build it can change their mind. The problem is the Yok is very very good also.

Would the new car be any better??

Stuart the problem with this approach is availibility of spares. Its bad enough getting Yok spares trak side and that is WITH the best trackside shop in attendance. Supporting so many cars is hard on the wallet..........on both sides.

If associated take it up this would mean wide availibility...........the biggest encouragement is that there is a small voice becoming a big clamour over in the states AND 4 wheel drives is taking of more anyway.......qwe can live in hope!

if you take a look at www.rc10b4.com it looks like it might be going into production soon and available in the shops by late spring

And yet associated have BOTH cars in their stable and still say a 4 wheel drive is not viable........................Quote The BJ4X4 thread in under two weeks received 12,000 views, making it the most popular thread on the website ever. Team Orion has already featured an article on the vehicle and it has received press in a European RC magazine.

Ok so building from scratch might not be so cool an option but surely they should have had the foresight!
