i have a spare hpi pipe for the chalange but as i have joined the brca as well
i might as well turn up to a few of there races too so i want to get a better pipe for there races .
one other thing that has been bothering me is that you have a pit man who refules the car etc during some races as im the only person in my area who races onroad (my mates all bash savages etc offroad nuts ) this is going to prove a problem for me on race day will the race organisers be able to help me on this or wil i have to break my mates arm till he agrees to come racing with me ???...lol
hmm maybe hard to refuel with broke arm .....

Hi,
Yes to compete in HPI challenge you may need a HPI part or component distributed by Mirage. I assume you have a side exhaust engine and to keep in with the rules your best bet is probably an Orion tuned pipe. I had one on mine when I used to do the HPI challenge and found good results. No idea what the part no. is but just call Mirage direct as I have always found them very helpful.

Dont worry if you dont have a pitman,
HPI challenge is about fun and always people to lend a hand. I could never convince anyone to get up early enough so had to ask myself.
Talk to the organisers when you arrive but also fellow racers as if they are not in your heat may be able to help you out.

We are using the same car straight out the box in Nitro Stock - there's 2 of us. I guess we could be in the same heat so one of us can help you out and you can help us out..... Like the last poster said, its a very friendly meeting so there will be plenty of people around to assist.
Did you consider using the car in Nitro Stock?

Nitroburna.........Mirage now have a tuned ally pipe from Mielke especially for the Nitro 3Evo, it comes as a pipe or as a pipie/manifold (recommended) package.
Price is around £25.
This will be a significant improvement on the composite version that comes in the kit, and it will be stronger.
Contact your local shop, they will be able to order it from Mirage stock.
Good luck at the Challenge.....
