HI,
Just got myself a 415 like Mr. R. I'm planning to race it mainly on rubber tires, indoors, on carpet.
If anyone could post any information or a link to the setup Marc used at the Carpet World Championships I would very much appreciate it.
Thanks,
James
Hi James,
I'm not entirely sure there is an online pdf. of his Carpet World Cup setup. I would presume it is very similar if not the same as his LRP winning one, which seems to be an excellent base setup for most for carpet/rubber. I presume you have the std. 415 and not the MS?
His LRP one is basically:
Front:
4mm upper arm spacer
Upper Damper position #2 (second from inside)
Lower Damper position #2 (outer)
No spacers under either susp. mount
1.5 camber
No roll bar
3 hole piston (not kit)
Tamiya 600 oil
Tamiya white spring
5mm on droop gauge (presumably Hudy)
0deg toe
Front Front susp. mount D
Rear Front susp. mount D (although many now use A, not inc.)
Rear:
0mm upper arm spacer
Upper Damper position #5 (furthest out)
Lower Damper position #2 (outer)
No spacers under either susp. mount
2.0 camber
No roll bar
3 hole piston (not kit)
Tamiya 600 oil
Tamiya blue spring
4mm on droop gauge
Front Rear susp. mount B
Rear Rear susp. mount D
Hope this helps,

g4t2,
I am currently building my very pretty 415MS to race on carpet with foams.
Any pointers as to what I should be doing different from the setup you just posted?
Cheers,
Dan
Dan, I'm afraid I don't really know as I have never run foams on mine, nor do I have an MS...lol, try asking on rctech.net sorry that I couldn't help more. :o
