Hi I have a HPI rtr evo 3 200m body and want to buy a tamiya ford escort wrc body shell but will it fit and will the arches line up ok?

either take car to shop and check or find dimensions off tamiya site

I can pretty much guarantee that it won't fit, I'm afraid... I had an Escort WRC shell (no longer though, thanks ebay!) and it was 190mm wide. I put it on my HPI RS4 Rally, and the wheels stuck out about 5mm each side, and the 'rally is about 2mm narrower than the RS4-3 Nitro...

what about if i get 24mm wide wheels and tyres? i could use the tamiya semi slicks then :cool:

I just looked on my HD for a pic of it when I had it and I can't find one! Sorry. But I reckon you'll be disappointed if you get one, I don't think it'll fit. The wheels have to be inside the arches to get any kind of suspension travel on that 'shell, so even if you do manage to get them back 'level' with the arches, it still won't work properly...
