xxx-s shock oil set up?

Hi,

I am currently running my xxx-s gp as per kit set up, apart from foam tyres. It currently has 30wt oil all round... is it just me or is this a little thin? Any suggestions?

Any other set-up tips for the xxx-s indoors on a tight carpet track would be great.

You may want to ask in the Losi section, but any way I run 60wt front and 50wt rear in my g+ I use the same for indoors or outdoors. ;D

erm, best to ask the local hot shot, but is the car not supposed to be quite heavily damped for carpet? high grip, 50-60 wt with red pistons is prob a good starting point, with purple springs all round....

i use 50wt all round, std red pistons, black springs front and purple rears. sorex 24R rubber tyres. i have too much grip on carpet with this combination - which is nice !

I run 40wt all round with foams on carpet. Also use kit springs (purple front - silver rear). At the moment I have blue springs on the front/silver rear, which I ran at the Junior Nats at the Don Valley, which is a very sof setup.

Have you tried the indoor springs (fluro orange/fluro green and whites)?? They are very stiff and you might like those instead.
