I have an SD and have been very pleased with it so far. Both cars are top line racing kits, and both are easy to get spares for. Its purely down to whatever takes your fancy.
however, if you want to save a few quid, you should consider the SD CGM. It is like the SD, but has a tub chassis instead, and it is very competitively priced considering its spec.

the reason i want an sd over a cgm is to get away from the tub
i had a mission i liked its chassis but i didnt like the belt drive
i got a tc3 i like its shaft drve but not too keen on the tub chassis
so i want a shaft drive carbon chassis car
the thing that drew me to the sd was that the modelshop that comes down to wlrc brings yoke spares
but the thing about the pro4 was the fact there were 4 in the worlds A main
and the one of the top stock drives uses one at wlrc

Ask yourself;
Do i often crash and/or break things?
If the answer is yes, then you've made your choice. :)
Doesn't SPEC do HPI parts then? :confused:

SD's were also 4th and 5th on the grid at the KO, courtesy of stuart cann and me.
Masami flies in any car... but it was a Tamiya that won the worlds.... ;)
I have owned both Yoke and Pro4 but if I was to choose between the 2 I'd say Pro4...
