Can u upgrade MR4-BC

HI I have got a standard £99 mr4-bc i got it before the special was available, has anyone else try to upgrade it to the better level and how much did it cost them? is there an upgrade pack?

Yeah, there is an upgrade pack, it's called the MR4BC-SP kit! ;D
Seriously, don't waste your time and money doing anything other than buying a new kit, there's far too many differences.

yeah it would actually be cheaper to by the full SP kit, i upgraded my MX4 to a Bc special (the long way round) and i still dont have the graphite chassis and its cost way more than buying a special would, i did do it over about a year and had something close even before the special came out. save yourself the hassle and money and get the SP.

Standard car is good for club work as is. Especially indoors!!

I agree with Doom though, if you do it with upgrades you will spend a fortune!!!!!

Long wheelbase kit and good shocks are a must, layshaft one-way also. Right then, 30 + 70 + 25(ish) .... Half the price of a special and your still no even 1/4 of the way there.....!

Special is a cracking car, straight out of the box!

Yes i could get the mr4 bc special and i would already have some knowledge about the car. and some spares!!!

how does the special compare to other 4wd cars of the same price? i liked the original, well except for the breakability of the material of the chassis!! one shunt cost me £40 once, i came over a jump, strayed into oncoming cars and hit a car simultaneously while hitting the ground!! ouch for the wallet!!!! he he

Car is as good as anything out there at the moment, well that's my opinion!!

That sort of crash would kill anything!!! Whenever a crash envolves a car on the wrong side of the hose it's a death match!!!!

If you like the standard car, you'll love the Special!
Rog is more qualified than me to answer (and I'm sure he will ;D)

Don't expect too much of your old car to be truely useful as spares for the Special tho', it's jst too different.
