I'll admit I know little about sensorless brushless setups! I'm cunfuddled by the various specs of the motors and ESC's, much more complicated than brushed technology!

If I had a MTroniks Brushless Genesis Sport ESC, and I was going to use it with 6 cells only, what motors can be run with it?

Hi,
I'm pleased to hear that you are thinking of trying one of our Genesis Sport brushless ESCs!
This ESC has been designed to run 'medium' power motors, that is to say, brushless motors with the same sort of performance as that of an 11 or 12 turn brushed motor. (50A limit)
Almost any 2 pole brushless motor on the market will run without a problem in conjunction with the Genesis sport ESC. I would suggest up to around 5800KV.

If you are wanting more power, the Genesis PRO which is due for release mid March/April will handle 100A. Again, this version of the Genesis car controller will run on virtually ANY 2 pole brushless motor on the market.

So Ginz the sport is about the same spec as the Novak mod system, so what sort of power is the pro?

Mark, the Novak is more like a 14t. At least I thought it was. :)
