wondering if anybody has try a different make spur gear for the mission, cuz i find the trusty schumacher ones become a bit oval or warpped over time?? plus they are of poor quality anyways

any ideas??

I only us RW racing ones, they are the only ones that are machined as far a as I know... you will need the alloy spur adaptor for it from Schumacher.

Robinson Racing gears are machined as well. That's what i use.

i find that any make of spur gear (apart from schumacher ones) work fine, they seem to be stronger and better quality (well most of the time)

The Schumacher ones do tend to wear out a bit quicker than others,
Personally I prefer the Kimborough ones, they are less brittle and seem quieter (on my cars anyway :D)

i prefer the rw ones to anything, they are very ridged.

i have the alloy spur adapter and use mainly rw 64 pitch.....

but have recently returned to 48 pitch using the HPI graphite spurs...

Very strong and very quiet

HPI Graphite!!!sounds good, where do you buy them from and how much?
