The Langley Model Car club (www.lmcc.fsnet.co.uk) will be holding a race meeting on Sunday 23rd January. This will be the 1st Sunday meeting organised by the club. This date has been choosen to avoid clashes with WLRC and Watford. We normally racing on Friday evenings.
The doors will open at 9am, with practice underway (hopefully) around 9.30am and start of racing around 10.30.
We will have 4 rounds of qualifying and 2 leg finals.
Non-members can race for a special fee of £4.00 instead of the usual £6. Normal fees for members.
If you've not been along before, mains power is available, but it would be helpful to bring an extension lead or plug adaptor. Tables and chairs are also available. 12v batteries are allowed in the School, but ideally these should be in their own container.
The club normally use Schumcher carpet dragoon tryes. For this meeting any tyre can be used. We CANNOT allow the use of any addative or chemical tyre cleaners as we racing in a school and have access to the diner area. Schmacher mini-pins cannot be used, due to the wear and damage they cause to the carpet. We race on PRIMAFELT as recommend by the BRCA. This offers consistant grip throughout the day and is not subject to weather or other climate conditions.
Fully details of the club can be found at www.lmcc.fsnet.co.uk, or send an email to andrew@axpayne.freeserve.co.uk. The school address is
