I got my MR4-BC Special '03 now, built with A/E shocks, longer shafts etc. etc.
How good are these on carpet? Anybody got any decent setups?

Think Rog said he had a good carpet set-up for the BC? But I don't know what it is. (yet!)
I reckon the longer shafts at the back will give too much droop for carpet racing though. Are we talking an off-road style track with jumps etc but a carpet surface or totally flat carpet?
If it's totally flat it could be worth playing with the touring car shocks & towers? Depends how serious you're taking it really? Lot of hassle changing shocks etc. ::)

35wt all round
Yokomo #1 pistons in Yokomo shocks
Yokomo Silver springs all round.
short wheelbase (ie. running without the longwheel base kit!!!)
Longest link on the back end (4 hole hubs)
Longest link on the front end (kingpin ball stud)
Shocks out on whishbone front and rear
Shocks out on tower front and rear
10 mm ground clearance both ends.
Rear roll bar (thickest one)
schumy yellow pins, outside row off both ends.
Works for me but has MONSTER steering!!

Naaaah, im not taking it serious, just loosening the transmission ready for the 2004 season so not gonna freck about with changing wheelbase etc..
I will try it as it is, but lower on standard shocks and let you know how it is. Dunno about jumps, probably, and I don't like backing off for them!

4 screws? I used superglue to put mine together = lighter!
(only kidding) ;D
What screws r u using Roger? Im worried about wearing these mild standard ones out through keep taking car apart. Although they're better than the posi drive type on the 'none special edition' which seem to wear out when building car 1st time even when using brand new screw driver!

What material are they made of? Are they 2mm allen drive type still?
PM me with details of where you got them please, and price?
