Hi all, I can remember a couple of years ago seeing a video that had Cliff Lett racing a modified pro 10 car around a velodrome at something like 100mph. Does anyone know of any sites or anywhere here in England where they do something similar? Looked like a right laugh to me! Cheers, NCR.

South Hants did an oval meeting at Calshot recently-ish - great fun apparently, although no-one tried a pan car. The problem would be tyres, as foams were said not to work at all.

I did 178.04 KM/H earlier this summer.

We've had a couple of guys try the PRO10 at our velodrome track meetings. They were annhililated by the tourers. However it would be fantastic to see you running down there with your car. We run a mod and stock class with a lunchtime interlude for a Supercar challenge where anything goes!
That beast you run would be an incredible site but I don't think the velodrome would be able to cope with a 100 mph supercar. It's a big track but were circulating in 7 seconds per lap which gives a top average speed of 50 mph. 3.5 seconds per lap would be "interesting" and pretty damn scary.
For anyone who's never been to one of our speed trials before, make the trip down at the end of February to Calshot. You won't be dissappointed! More details of past events and news of the future race will be on our website very soon.

Foams do work, the front tyres of your insane speed car were UFRA foams.
But the car wouldn't work on an oval, it was designed to go straight only.
