Why wait to the beginners? Nick has now joined and despite saying otherwise has done a couple of Winter meetings. Although I'm sure he would have prefered better results he is enjoying himself participating rather than talking about it.

Quickest way to get better is to come along a bang your head against the wall, metaphorically speaking. We've had a few new starters recently and are all enjoying themselves on and off the track.

It is nice to see new drivers coming along especially ones who want to do well and are content to concentrate on their own skills and problems (if they have any), (problems that is), rather than spend all their time telling the experienced guys how to do it.

If only we could get a few more at our local indoor club it would be even better, the problem is that drivers coming there have to compete with our resident boy-wonder, and what a season he has had, what a lot his dad has had to put up with !! especially the last round of the Summer series when his car broke, (that was some day that was) but you can take nothing away from him, he put in some outstanding performances all over the country in the BRCA Nats as well as in our own series here at West London and I feel he deserved to win the F2 title.

I think that Ben Ingram is a perfect example of what can be achieved by a 14 year old with bit of determination.

Well done Ben it is a pleasure to race with you.
