I know the majority of the Xray (Centre Point) drivers ran Peak this year, what motor will they be using in 2004 now that Helgar have the sole distubution rights for Peak motors?
I think I saw an Xray team driver with a Reedy sticker on the front of his car, does this mean that Centre Point wont have a motor that they import themselves to race with?

Had an email with this web link www.centre-point.biz (http://www.centre-point.biz) in the senders details. Are they about to launch a website? The sender has chosen @ the moment not to reply to my returned email asking them.
Doesn't link through at the moment, though the senders email was *******@centre-point.biz

From what I have heard they will have an own brand motor line up and running in the not too distant future. Branded under a name they already have for another line they distribute.

Interesting, so if the motor isnt going to be Orion based? (how many re-brands can one manufacturer have?)
Then who will it be? I dont think it will be LRP as there 2nd brand is Nosram.
Would they do the sensible thing and let Glyn from BRM make motors for them from Reedy blanks... or is that too wide of the mark?

Many rumours, but the only way to find out for sure is to be patient ;)
Not sure about a website I have seen the address before but it doesn't seem to work at the moment so can't say either way for sure.

You can buy the cans and endbells for virtually all the currently available motors, so you wouldn't be selling a rebadged Reedy or whatever, but an Epic/Yokomo etc can/endbell with an armature design of your choice.
I think they will try all the options and release the one they personally feel happiest with.
That's what I heard they may do anyway.

I'm not sure what the other Xray drivers will do for motor and batt, but myself and Ben run direct for Xray and Peak so nothing will change!

Does that then mean you will be supported by Centre Point AND Helgar, or are you direct to the manufacturers?

Direct with Xray factory and direct with Peak!

What is the status of the rest of the Xray drivers? Are they Centre Point drivers or are the direct..
And when your at it, what gossip do you have about who is racing with which team in 2004?
There are a few drivers who go with the "brand loyalty" thing, some like to run what their team drivers run. I must admit, I like the idea of using the same stuff so when you compare set ups, you are using like for like.

There is no blooming content to it, if you want to click on a link for stuff they are stocking, instead of it bringing up a page, with kits n stuff, with prices, it takes you to the Manufacturers web site...
