Hello

I'm noticing when the diffs are bolted in my 7.7 pro there is a lot of play, by this i mean that i can move the diff pully side by side, should this be happening, i have checked the diffs and they are tight enough. i have a feeling it's just the type A screw and bolt which are causing the trouble but i'm not 100%.

Many thanks Mike

Mike,
It's normal for the diff pulley to float a couple of mm. If the balls were a tight fit into the pulley then you wouldn't get any diff action.

Hi James

Thanks for the reply, i guess it was just me threating then :) , i guess if something does happen atleast the parts are cheap and i have some diff bits lying around.

Many thanks Mike

Hi

Bought the 17/37 pulleys + belts. Thought I could use them with my b-type diffs, but the 17/37 does not fit, the diff-rings are too small in outer diameter and leaves the diff-balls hanging on the outer edge of the diff-rings and the diff halfway open to any dirt that comes that way........
What to do?
Thanks.
Bjarup.
