View Full Version : Gearing for a Losi XXX-S... again!

I am travelling off to the junior national in a few weeks at the don valley stadium. I am expecting a fairly small track (about as big as Macc I think!).

How should I gear my XXXS on Trinity D5 12X1? it's one of the smaller track motors and I run GP3300s

I've found if you have a spur gear you normally use a pinion of the same pitch !

22 /90 is about right for Don Valley on a 12x1 D5 Hi Speed

Matt:- 22/90 seems pretty low to me? When i ran a mission there I would gear up about 4 teeth compared to a stock motor.
