Dear All,
I've just bought a virtually complete RC10T on ebay with a few other bits with it. One of those bits is an RPM buggy chassis that appears to take the original RC10 buggy bits.
The whole thing appears to be made of nylon with alloy plates at each end.
Does anyone know anything about these chassis?

I ran one on a borrowed RC10 for a while, allong with all the other RPM bits (wishbones etc). It was never really popular, I don't recall any of the top drivers converting long term to it. I wasn't at a high enough level at the time to offer any quantifiable comparisons.

TOP Models released a buggy with the RPM chassis on years back. The "Hybrid" I think it was called.
It should've been good as it used the best bits from other buggies of the time but never really caught on. (RPM chassis & wishbone kit, Associated Stealth transmission, traxxas shocks, HPi spoked wheels etc.)

Another thing I think I recal from the RPM chassis was that it ran longer wishbones with the inboard pickups closer together, much more like the cars we run today.
Gaz, It was called the Hybrid and wasn't very popular, I seem to recal it was quite expensive and I reacon most people thought when all the top drivers ran the std worlds edition why bother risking it?

Thanks for the feedback guys, don't suppose anyone recalls what shell was used?
Mine has come with a Losi shell that has been cut about a bit.

I think it was a custom one, I think the JRX pro had a similair shaped shell. Another thing I was thinking about, isn't it really difficut to locate the speedo as the side were really narrow?
Any chance of a pic?

You're not kidding it's narrow!
As soon as I find the download cable for the camera I'll put a photo up.
