Okay silly question time again..just replaced my speedo on my mission and found that its larger than my old one . Therefore there is not enough room on the chassis for Servo ,receiver , speedo and motor . I could stand the speedo on its edge but this would mean no access to neither crystals nor setup button on speedo , so the silly question....can I put the receiver on the upper deck , if so , is the best place for it directly above the servo ?

Thank for the reply.......trying to place it on top of the servo , moved the airiel post back a shade but still struggling to clear the servo/steering arm when on full lock right . Maybe I could 'pack' my servo out a little to give it clearance , or reduce my lock

With the weight of a receiver, I don't think you would be compromising the CofG of your car, being that it weights so little, and will be basically over the centre line of the chassis, it will play very little if no effect on the handling of the car.
Honest.

End Point Adjustment, done either by your transmitter, if it has the facility, or mechanically, by selecting a pickup up point closer in to the servo screw or a shorter arm.
I currently mount the reciver on the top deck and have no problems at all, and yes it is almost in line with the reicver.

The further away from the centre line, the more affect it has on the cars ability to transfer weight, it is best to have it all in the middle than outwards, even if it does happen to be above the lowest point.

You should be able to put the reciever on it's edge and it may be ok on the bottom deck. I have my KO on it's edge on the lower deck running parallel to the belt. This then leaves plenty of room for speedo.

Thanks for your help all , for the record I'm going try it on the top deck fairly close to the servo , thinking that the further it is away from the power cables the better...thx again
