hey guys, my buddy bought a msonik sprint and a reedy kr 10T motor NEW off the net. set everything up and gave it a try, everytime u hit the throttle to full off the start...the SC resets itself. we hooked it up to my trinity caiber 10t and did the same and the SC did NOT reset itself..the KR has both resistors soldiered on there and the diod, is the motor toast?? is there anything spacific we should do w/ a new KR? any info greatly apprecited...

I remember reading somewhere that those motors need a certain drive ratio to run properly. i beleive the drive ratio for the 10t is 7.9 , tell him to try getting the appropiat toothed spur and pinion gears to meet that ratio.

if that doesn't work...no clue =\

Try a different speedo anyway.......

Suspect the KR would pull more current than the Trinity, and it is probably too much for the speedo.
