Hello All,
Has any one tried the new rear yet for the 12M,
what set-up have you found best.
Ive got the new rear & have just finished building it,but not sure what people are using in the side dampers? What ever you use-- do you spread it all over the inner aluminum shaft?
Ive put 25w oil in the main damper.
Also do you know what effect you get when using the difrent tweak holes, and are you using the tweak screws.
Any help would be gratefully appreciated

on a corally people have been using corally pink shock oil (25wt) in the centre...and in the sides they have been using corally red "goop" (dampner syrup not shock oil)

Hi Steve,
I ran the new style rear end for most of last season, and genrally ran the following set-up-
20wt oil in centre shock with goldish colour spring,
corally red syrup in side dampers, (put loads on)
Tweak on softest setting, and just touching the t-bar,
low roll centre on t-bar.
On the front I ran red syrup with 1.0mm springs, and 3 washers under front ball joint.
I think that the other possitions on the tweak plate will probabaly be too stiff, but you can try.
Andy.

Cheers GrifF,
I noticed after buiding the new rear i was left with an extra 2 ball cups, but ive mixed them with some old ones,so i don't know which came with the kit.why im asking about these is because ive got more roll on one side than the other,is there any difrence between all of the ball cups,or are the extra 2 just spares...
one more Q,
when assembling the side dampers do you after measure how long the shaft is to the ball cup,and measure the outer sleave to the ball cups?(simlar to measuring shocks)
if yes what have you built your's too??

Hi Steve,
I have cut a little off the balljoint that is attached to the tube. This was to make sure that the tubes didn't stop the rear travel, it is the t-bar/ chassis that dictates how far the pod can move. I have made them 44.5mm from end of balljoint to end of tube.
You should have had 6 balljoints in you kit, 4 for the side tubes and 2 for the centre shock. If you have more then keep quiet or else everyone will want more ;)
