The car: xxx-s (not g+)

I have put 4deg hub carriers on. I have rear 1deg hub carriers. Rear sway bar. 6mm ride ht. -1deg camber. -1(maybe2) deg toe. Carpet dragons with firm inserts. Purple springs up front and black in the back. 50wt in front 80wt in back.

The problem: I get loads of grip in the turns, but but the car pushes to the outside during the turn. Any suggestions? ??? ???

Okay, this could be really simple to fix, what diff setup are you running, e.g, solid axle/one-way/diff??

One way to cure this could be to change to the overdrive diff pulley (the 41t smaller one) in the front of your car as this will give the car less off-power steering and will give you more steering exiting the turn. This setup works well indoors ( i use it on carpet ), and it sounds like you are from the tyre choice, if your club allows, get a set of foams. Get some TRC blues all round or if your not allowed additive get some TRC purple fronts and blue rears.

Interesting setup !! Everything sees back to front !
Have you written it right or is this really it ?

Tyres are an issue here but you can make it go very well on rubbers given the right setup

Might sound daft, but just try putting the black springs on the front and the purples on the back, this is what i use, and my past experiance also tells me that the front shout be harder than the front ::). over drive and all of that! bah! i run stadard diffs, low roll centres, 0 deg rear hub, 2deg front, 2 camber rear, front 0 camber, 0 toe, 0 droop, rear 2 droop, ride height 5 mm, with proline front double blues, rear either proline greens, or ATS 35shore tires!

Turns in very well now that the springs are correct! (i'll have you mr davis this week, i promise)

Kev:- Its Davies thankyou!! Not Davis! Seriously though, try running the front in the overdrive setting as it works really well.

My indoor setup is:-

1 degree camber all round
1 degree toe in on the front and 2 degrees at the back
40wt oil all round and 2 hole pistons
Kit springs, purple front and silver rear
Very little front droop and no droop screws in the rear
Ride height around 3-4mm
TRC blues all round (preferably of a 52mm diameter, yes that is correct!)
Geared 24/88 on Trinity Monster stock, it's geared that high because of the tyre diameter, although it will be about a 21/22 pinion now because I have some new tyres.
Protoform Alfa 2.0 body, works very, very well on small indoor tracks.

This setup works extremely well, and it also is good for outdoor tarmac racing too if you knock the ride height up.

Oh yes, Kev your right in a way, the front is generally stiffer than the rear, except when I run small tyres, the front is softer for super front grip and very, very high corner speed (how else do you think I managed to be 1/2 a second a lap faster than anyone else??).

One more thing Kev, can I borrow a front bumper, as you know that mine is slightly, erm, damaged! Not my fault though, tyres thought they would vanish and leave me with just a wheel...

Well it seems that I set up my cars backwards. I have it stiffer in the rear then the front. I will use your tips and post the results. Thank you all very much.
