Wats rong wiv it, i can wobble the hole thing in which ever direection u want it to, it is also really really noisy unless u mesh the pinion really close the the spur, ive tried takin i apart then putin it back really carefully but nutin is workin, its the standerd 86 u get with the kit btw.
It is on the mission carbon version.
Also, wen u put the pinion on the motor it seems to stick out a hell of along way to get it lined up with the spur, was it designed like this or have i built it wrong.

The pinion comes out quit far, well compared to a tc3 it does.have you got the little plastic washers on the layshaft? If you havent that would explain all the movement.

Check you've got both layshaft mounts the correct/same way round.

I dont think that would be it, if they are on so 1 hole is forword and 1 hole is back the spur gear will rub against the top deck.

The spur hasn't become warped has it??

If it has slightly warped then it becomes out of shape and may be causing it to move. When you move it does it wobble whilst spinning??

If so then you could need a new spur i think!

I have had a couple of dodgy schuey spurs.
If you can upgrade to the RW spurs, much better and more reliable.

if you get any other make of spur gear you will need a gear adaptor to make it fit, RW and MOST other makes are much more rigid.

I think i may have to replace it, aload of clickin noises are coming from it now wen the brake is applied.

If it is clicking i would think that you have shreaded a couple of teeth on the spure gear, im suprised it still works becasue usualy when it "clicks" the pinion wont always mesh correctly with the spur after going over the skiped teeth. If there are not any teeth missing in the spur gear i sugest you check your belts are not too loose.

all the teeth have been a bit shreded, about a 1/4 of the teeth that is closest to the motor have been slightly shredded, im gueesin i need to replce it??
